Play Time

We had such an incredible time in Cloudcroft, hanging out with the family! AND to our surprise there was plenty of snow for us desert rats to play in! Okay, it was really only 4-5 inches (more in a few drifty places) but it was more snow than Zoey and Camryn had seen ever! Our home away from home was very 'mountain cottage' like and very cozy. We enjoyed plenty of snowball fights, sledding and snow angels.
We brought bicycles for everyone to ride around on but then found that the cabin was pretty much in town. Of course for those of you that have been to Cloudcroft, you know that town consists of a little mercantile and an Allsup's convenience store (okay, plus some touristy places!) We didn't get to ride bikes due to excess ice and snow, but we walked all over the place which was nice. There were several little play areas around town that we visited to let the girls run off some extra steam. It was so nice to be up in the tall pines and have a change of pace and scenery. And so now it's back to reality and all the fun that goes with it.
